ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Mandy White. I am from South Florida and moved to Orlando, Florida to pursue my career in film. I have always known I wanted to do film ever since I was little. I used to create short skits and music videos with my best friend everyday after school and would post them on YouTube under the name “funnymandy” to share with friends and family. It wasn’t until I turned 8 years old that I taught myself how to edit and discovered that making movies could be more than a hobby. In high school, I dove into the world of Drama joining Olympic Heights Highschool’s Theatre program. I became one of the theater presidents and head choreographer my senior year of high school while also being a part of the school’s hip hop team. My love for acting, performing, and choreography had only grown larger, opening many doors for the future. I have since immersed myself into the film world attending Valencia College in 2022 for their advanced film program earning an Associate Science degree in film. I am forever grateful for the experience and people I met at Valencia and will always thank them for the opportunities and productions created together. I am now set to graduate in 2026 with my Bachelors in Film at the University of Central Florida.​

​Since then, I have continued to grow my portfolio and have been a part of a variety of productions whilst working on my own projects unaffiliated with school. From directing to editing, to now working as a 1st Assistant Director/Producer professionally, I have found that I thrive on bouncing around and sharpening my skills in all categories. I am beyond excited to continue this path of creating and connecting with amazing people in the near future. I am extremely grateful for the many blessings I have received and will continue to thrive in my passion while honoring the love of God!
